What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. Next time you visit the site, your browser will read the cookie and relay the information back to the website or element that originally set the cookie.
For further information, visit allaboutcookies.org.
We use information gathered from cookies to help improve your experience on our website and for security reasons. The cookies we use do not store personally identifiable information nor can they harm your computer. We want our website to be informative, personal, and as user friendly as possible and cookies help us to achieve that goal.
View your options for managing cookies further down below in pur section “How to manage and delete cookies”.
We use the following cookies on our website:
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential to enable you to browse around our website and use its features.
These cookies collect information about how you use our websites — for instance, which pages you go to most. This data may be used to help optimize our websites and make them easier for you to navigate. These cookies don’t collect information that identifies you. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous.
These cookies allow our websites to remember choices you make while browsing. For instance, we may store your language selection in a cookie. We may also remember preferences such as text size, fonts, and other customizable site elements. The information these cookies collect will not personally identify you, and they cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.
Google Analytics cookies are used to collect anonymous information about how visitors use our website. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve our website. The information collected is anonymous and includes the number of visitors to the website, what pages they visited and where they have come to the website from. More information is available on: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/cookie-usage

We use the Google Tag Manager, a solution from Google Inc. that allows companies to manage website tags through a single interface. The Google Tag Manager is a cookie-less domain that does not collect personal information. The Google Tag Manager will trigger other tags that may collect data. We herewith point this out separately. The Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been made by the user at the domain or cookie level, it will remain in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

LinkedIn Insight Tags
We use the “LinkedIn Insight Tag” of LinkedIn Corporation, 1000 W Maude Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94085, USA (“LinkedIn”) on our website. It helps us with in-depth campaign reporting and insights about our website visitors. It can also be used to track conversions, retarget website visitors, and unlock additional insights about members interacting with our ads on LinkedIn.
The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of data regarding members’ visits to our website, including the URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics (User Agent), and timestamp. This data is encrypted, the IP addresses are truncated, and members’ direct identifiers are removed within seven days in order to make the data pseudonymous. This remaining, pseudonymized data is then deleted within 90 days.
LinkedIn does not share personal data with us, it only provides aggregated reports about the website audience and ad performance. LinkedIn also provides retargeting for website visitors, enabling us to show personalized ads off our website by using this data, but without identifying the member. LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal data for advertising purposes through their account settings.
